What to do if the excavator can't start? In fact, it can be easily solved in three steps.

Reason 1: Circuit

If there is no response when the ignition switch is turned on, or the starter motor speed is too low, and you can feel a sense of weakness, then it can be roughly determined that there is a fault in the starter circuit.

1. Check the battery pile head

Clean the battery pile head, and then tighten the screws of the pile head. Loose battery pile heads will cause poor contact. Then observe whether there is a broken line or a loose connector.

2. Check the relay box and fuse box

Open the relay box to check whether the connector is loose, and then open the fuse box to check whether the starter circuit fuse is burned out.

Failure of the starter motor or generator can also cause the car to fail to start. The generator failure cannot generate electricity normally, and the battery power cannot be replenished, resulting in a low speed or no rotation of the starter motor.

Reason 2: Oil circuit. If you can hear the starter motor turning very strongly when you turn the start key, and the engine does not have abnormal mechanical friction sound, then it can be roughly determined that it is caused by the oil circuit.

1. Check whether there is enough fuel. First, check whether there is oil in the fuel tank. For vehicles with a good fuel gauge, you can observe the amount of fuel in the tank through the fuel gauge. It is best to check whether there is enough fuel in the tank through the fuel level gauge or by opening the fuel tank cap. After all, the fuel gauge can also fail.

2. Drain the oil-water separator. Many owners do not have the habit of draining the oil-water separator every day. If the oil used happens to be of poor quality, it may not be able to start due to excessive water in the diesel. The oil-water separator generally has a red buoy. When the buoy of the oil-water separator is in the middle, unscrew the drain bolt at the bottom of the oil-water separator in time to drain the water.

3. Exhaust the engine, find the position of the hand oil pump, loosen the bleed bolt next to the hand oil pump, press the hand oil pump by hand until all the diesel comes out of the bleed bolt, and then tighten the bleed bolt. Generally, the excavator can start after checking the circuit and oil circuit. If it still doesn't work, it's time to consider mechanical reasons.
